"Now I am enjoying my retirement," jokes Andrea Tiberi, who ended his career as a professional mountain biker in 2020. Born and raised in Val di Susa, in Oulx, he soon became the Italian athlete of reference for Cross Country MTB. Italian champion in 2015, the following year he competed at the Rio Olympics representing our colours. Born in 1985, Andrea is a champion both in the saddle and in everyday life. One of those guys used to never giving up, always looking ahead with courage and determination. Sport is his life. 'When I'm not pedalling, I'm climbing; when I'm not climbing, I'm training on cross-country skis'. His is an all-round passion for the mountains and the area where he grew up. 'I think I have explored every corner of the Susa Valley, now that I have more time I want to dedicate myself to the other mountains in Piedmont'.
