After racing in the competitive categories of traditional cycling, crowning his career with a year in the professional ranks, in 2012 he decided to switch to ultracycling. In this extreme sport, which he still practices, mostly engaging in winter feats, he has excelled in various Italian and international competitions. Among others, he won Le Raid Provence Extrême 2014 and 2015 (600 km), the Tour du Mont Blanc 2015 (330 km), the Ultracycling Dolomitica 2015-2016 (616 km) and the Italian Endourance 24 Hours Championship 2018, as well as becoming Italian specialty champion in 2015 and 2017. In 2018 he crossed Arctic Canada by pedaling for around 1300 km on the Arctic Highway after reaching the North Cape and having crossed Iceland entirely during the winter.
